A $55 pair of shoes was discounted 15 percent, making the sale price $46. 75. The discounted price was then discounted again by 10 percent. Explain how you would find the final price of the shoes.

Answer:

Im not sure if you look for an answer or just how you could find it but the answer is $42.075

Step-by-step explanation:

So what you would do is take 46.75 and divide this by 10 which is 4.675 so you take the 46.75 and minus it my 4.675 (just wanted you to know you can only divide by 10 here because ten is evenly split with almost any number so if it were a different number divide it by 100 and multiply whatever you get after you divide by the precent cut your trying to find)
