When you've just taken a stick of butter out of the fridge what is it like?what are some of its properties

pls help me this is for science class

Out of personal experience (lol), I'd say the stick of butter is hard, cold, and very smooth at first. Once heated up or just kept at room temp for a while, it becomes mushy.
