So this here is the product rule so whenever you're multiplying two exponential expressions with the same base. Then you combine them together my ad in the exponent. That's the product rule.

Answer:

Explanation:

2n^4*5n^4\\\\2(5)*n^(4+4)\\\\10n^8

In your example, the terms have the same bases, so you just add them together.

Hope this helps!
