Area of blue shape:

Area of rectangle + area of triangle

= (9 × 15) + (1/2 × (15 - 9) × 15)

= 135 + (1/2 × 6 × 15)

= 135 + 45

= 180 mm²

Area of yellow shape:

area of rectangle AHPB + area of rectangle GFQP + area of rectangle EDCQ

= (4 × 12) + (6 × (12 - 9)) + (4 × 12)

= 48 + (6 × 3) + 48

= 48 + 18 + 48

= 114 m²
