How did industrialization create unevenness amongst countries?

Industrialization, as with any advances in technology, served to create a separation of classes between those who owned or otherwise made the industrial technologies vs those who worked for these people, or even those left without a job due to being replaced. Industrialization essentially creates a divide between the rich who own and make the technology and the poor and poorer who are left paid lower since the technology is more efficient, or replaced for the same reasons.
