Unfortunately there's not much we can say other than


\text{distance} = √( (x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2)\\\\\text{distance} = √( (a-c)^2+(b-d)^2)\\\\

If we knew the numbers that replace a,b,c,d, then we could compute the actual numeric distance.
