Answer: Never true

Work Shown:

-2(2x+9) > -4x+9

-4x-18 > -4x+9 ... distribute

-18 > 9 .... add 4x to both sides; they cancel

The last inequality is false regardless of which x value you pick. Since the last inequality is always false, that means the first inequality is always false.
