If many people lost their lives then money coming in will decrease. With resources scarce trading will be off limits and people can’t spend money on resources that aren’t there. So the government will not have much money to support schools and other things. When more resources are available the government may need to decide who gets what, but it unlikely they will all agree. So they may start putting restrictions on items, but it’s human nature to be greedy so many people might not buy things or might start stealing from others. Then this may cause and uproar and more rebellion.
