Help!! Please! How does food and nutrients get into the bloodstream by Osmosis?

Answer:

The chyme travels into the small intestine (where osmosis takes place). The chyme has a higher concentration than the epithelial cells that line your intestines. in order to reach homeostasis, water moves into these cells through their semipermeable membranes, taking small nutrients with it.
