How to quit smoking. Even though tobacco is a highly addictive drug, there are someways to slow an addiction.

Try an activity to get your mind off of the thought of smoking.

Avoid situations where you have a strong urge to smoke.

Talk to a doctor or join a support group.

Replace nicotine with something else, ex. gum.

Avoid triggers so your withdrawal period isn’t too bad.
