Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a and b are two side lengths, and c is the hypotenuse (“x”, in this case)

Therefore:
(21)^2 + (20)^2 = c^2
441 + 400 = c^2
841 = c^2
c=29

x=29 since x=c
