You have a sore throat from a viral disease. A friend suggests you get a prescription for an antibiotic. What would you say, and why?

i would tell them no thanks you because antibiotics do not work on viral infections only bacterial infections

I would say thank you because if you start taking that antibiotic you can get better but if you don’t finish the coursethat sore throat might get worse
