(x – 3)² – 10 = 15

{x}^(2) - 6x + 9 - 10 = 15

{x}^(2) - 6x - 1 = 15

{x}^(2) - 6x - 15 = 0

{x}^(2) + 2x - 8x - 1 - 15 = 0

{x}^(2) + 2x - 8x - 16 = 0

x * (x + 2) - 8x - 16 = 0

x * (x + 2) - 8(x + 2) = 0

(x + 2) * (x - 8) = 0

x + 2 = 0

x - 8 = 0

so,

x1 = - 2

x2 = 8
