To figure this out we need to know that to find the area the equation is A=1/2bh so lets create our equation

A=1/2(17)(14)

A=1/2(238)

A=119

119 is your area

PART TWO

to find out the length we need to basically reverse what we did in the first part

270*2=540

540 divided by 30 (the height)=18

18 is the base length

to show it is correct we can use these numbers to find the answer

A=1/2(18)(30)

A=1/2(540)

A=270
