The value of x.

Solution:

From the given figure, it is clear that the angle PQS is a right angle.

$m\angle PQS=m\angle PQR+m\angle RQS$

$90^\circ=57^\circ+x^\circ$

$90^\circ-57^\circ=x^\circ$

$33^\circ=x^\circ$

Therefore, the value of x is 33 degrees.
