In ΔQRS, r = 1.5 inches, ∠S=23° and ∠Q=22°. Find the length of s, to the nearest 10th of an inch.

0.8 inches

Explanation:

< R = 180-23-22 = 135°

the length of s = 1.5 × sin 23° / sin 135°

= 1.5 × 0.391 / 0.707 = 0.5865/0.707

= 0.8 inches
