2. Ingestion - Ingestion is when we are taking something by mouth. If someone eats a piece of cheese that is expired, they will most likely get food poisoning.

3. Skin contact - Skin contact is when a substance is in direct contact with our skin. For example, if someone spills an acidic substance on their arm during science class, this is considered a toxin and they may get a painful chemical burn.
