What are the zeros of f(x)=(x-2)(3x+1)​

Answer:

( x-2) ( 3x+1)

3x^2 + x - 6x - 2

x( 3x + 1 ) -2( 3x + 1 )

( 3x + 1 ) ( x - 2 )

either

3x + 1 = 0

3x = -1

x = -1/3

or

x - 2 = 0

x = 2

( -1/3 , 2 )
