How can acknowledgment of injustice influence victims, bystanders, perpetrators, and the descendants of these individuals?

It helps the victims feel seen, as for the perpetrators if they’re in justice is to be pointed out they are less likely to perform that misconduct again, as for bystanders it could raise their morale knowing justice has been served, and for the descendants it could leave them some peace knowing that what happened is no longer being covered up/hidden, and their relatives/ancestors will receive the honor they should.
