Why is England the seat of the government for the U.K?

Answer:

One of the main reasons why I think that England is the seat of the government for the U.K is because the Parliament is located next to Big Ben which is the really tall clock next to the Parliament building but the reason why I think that the chose the location of England is because that they thought it was probably more urban and in closer proximity to other businesses.
