What are some ways a reviewer would use a quotation to support his or her perspective on a work?

Answer:

They might use quotation of evidence to further point out the claim they have, demonstrating how others share their beliefs. The quote either logically supports their claim or summarize the argument/perspective they are representing. Similar to what the other answerer is saying.

They could use the ideas established in the quotation to show how others also support the same belief they do, the quotation could also logically support their viewpoint or easily sums up the argument/perspective they hold.
