a shiny object reflects light. will a shiny object make a shadow when light shine on it? explain your answer​

Yes the shiny object will surely make a shadow if there is a source of light and there is a screen because when the path is obstruct by an opaque object a shadow is formed. The shiny object will reflect light but wont allow light to pass through it which makes it an opaque object and it produces a shadow.
