Explanation:

area of square minus area of circle = answer

area of square is 64

area of circle is pi * r squared

r is 8 ÷2 = 4

r squared is 4 * 4

area of circle is pi * 4 * 4 = pi * 16 = 50.24

64 - 50.24 = 9.76
