From pt 1 to pt 2 there is a three unit change, from pt 2 to pt 3 there is a 3 unit change, from 3 to 4 there is a 5 unit change, and from 4 to 1 there is a 3 unit change. Add those together 3+3+3+5= 14 units is perimeter
To find area: look at image. answer is 30 units
