(y+7) is undefined and cannot rlly be added together since y isn’t really a number. Remove the parenthesis and ur answer is simply : y+7

You don’t know because y isn’t an actually number unless you know what it’s supposed to equal. For example, if y=18, y+7 would be 25 but since you don’t know what y is, it’s undefined.
