Write the equation of a line, in point-slope form, that is parallel to the original and passes through the point (7,1)

y=3x+5
Gradient=3
y-y1=m(x-x1)
If the points are (7,1)
y-1=3(x-7)
y-1=3x-21
y=3x-20 as your equation
Note: when lines are parallel they have equal gradient
