please can someone tell me what HCF and LCF is and their defferences because i always get find them confusing​

The highest common factor is found by multiplying all the factors which appear in both lists: So the HCF of 60 and 72 is 2 × 2 × 3 which is 12.

The LCF is the lowest factor (Other than 1) out of 2 or more. For example, the LCF of 1000 and 100 would be 2 since it is the lowest factor that they both have!
