Do you believe that the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan was the proper

no it was not because they could've just fought each other instead of us killing a bunch of innocent people :(

I believe it was as, despite the high casualties of the bomb, I think that it helped to avoid the cost of a US land invasion of the Japanese mainland, and coming from a Japanese person's perspective, I believe this helped to avoid much more catastrophic casualties and bloodshed that may have occured if the US had persued a land invasion which would have extended the war for a much longer period of time, and therefore lead to civilian casualties despite the mass loss of life from the atomic bomb.
