Humans rely on minerals for many daily uses. How could the distribution of mineral resources be affected as the human population continues to increase?

Firstly some minerals like non renewables for energy supply for example would eventually run out and as supplies run lower prices will increase due to high demand of the resource.

As the population increases there would be a higher demand for these minerals, therefore it would run out faster and prices will be higher, many minerals cannot last forever.

The distribution of minerals will decrease because they are unsustainable resources.
