Please Help!

Write a poem about one or more of the themes the ancient Persians used. In your poem, explore the use of adverbs and adjectives to make your words come alive. Try to paint a “word picture.”

1. Empire Building
2. Revenge
3. Mass Grief
4. Pride Goes Before a Fall

Revenge
Things happen I know
But I just want them to know
I want those who hurt me to insert these feelings I feel
They don’t have to deal
Revenge will be their bill

theme:

as wars ar brough

they fought

putting down rebellions with a bloodthirsty hand

they had strength at their hands

having revenge

they seek vengeance

seeking victory out of vengeance can never succeed

it only causes death
