EASY SPANISH QUESTION:

Would "Alicia y Roberto" be considered "Ellos" or "Ellas" when writing a sentence??

Ex. Alicia y Roberto ellas/ellos estudientes.

And if you could, why so? Would it be ellos because Robert's name comes last?

Any group with at least ONE male in it should be referred to as Ellos.

It's "Ellos" because "Ellas" is plural for "Girls" only.

Even though "Ellos" is plural for guys, it can also be used for "them" / "they"
