What are two possible changes that might occur in a green insect species if the green grass it uses for camouflage turns brown due to drought

I guess evolution could eventually occur causing the insect species to darken but since it's a drought it's probably a short period

another thing is the species is hunted and dies out. their source of camouflage is gone leaving them out in the open for predators
