Many people believe that all micro-organisms are harmful. Give two examples of how unicellular organisms, such as bacteria and fungi, are useful to humans and the environment.

1) Fungi is a decomposer, meaning it breaks down dead organisms and repurposes it. With out Fungi, a common decomposer, the whole ecosystem would perish.

2) Not all bacteria is bad, most of the bacteria in our bodies is what protects us from harmful things. In fact, humans carry more bacterial cells
