1. Two Bit talks to the girls in a more respectful and playful manner compared to the way Dally did. While Dally was aggressive and rude, Two Bit jokes around with the girls and tries to impress them with his charm.

2. Pony tells the story of what happened to Johnny. He explains that Johnny was jumped by a group of Socs, who beat him up and left him unconscious on the train tracks. Johnny was saved by the quick thinking of Dally, who pulled him off the tracks just in time.

3. Pony notices that the Socs at the drive-in are more well-dressed and polished compared to the greaser boys. He also observes that the Socs are more confident and comfortable in their social environment, whereas the greasers are more tense and on edge.
