You want to make bouquets of balloons. You have 10 blue balloons and 18 pink balloons. Every bouquet will have the same number of each color. What is the greatest possible number of bouquets you can make using all the balloons? How much will you earn if you sell each bouquet for $2.98?

Answer: You can make 2 bouquets of 5 blue ballons and 9 pink ballons and make $5.96.

Explanation:

Start by dividing both by different numbers:

10/2=5. 18/2=9

No other number can go in to both so you have two bouquets with 5 blue and 9 pink balloons.

Next multiply 2 by $2.98:

$2.98(2)=$5.96

Hope this helps:)
