Why did the colonial government passed Criminal Tribes Act? Describe the Act in 1871.​

This act was mainly because Britishers wanted to divide or separate castes and to divide tribal peoples from mainstream society. This is also because tribal peoples move from one place to another as they use natural resources of forest to ensure a permanent place of living, and the colonial government passed this law.
