Ricardo’s goal was to run 40 laps. At the end of the week, he ran 125% of his goal. How many laps is that?

40/1 = 100/1

125% = 100/100 + 25/100

25% of 40 = 10

so you have the 40 laps which equal 100% and you also have 25 percent of the from the 125% and 25 percent of 40 is 10 so the answer is 40 plus 10 wich is 50
