2w^2-2w+32=(w-5)(w-5)

2w^2-2w+32=w^2-10w+25

Subtract
w^2 from each side:

w^2-2w+32=-10w+25

Add
10w to each side:

w^2+8w+32=25

Subtract 25 from each side:

w^2+8w+7=0

Factor:

(w+1)(w+7) =0

Both solutions work, so w=-1 and w=-7
