The difference between a relation and a function is that a relation can have many outputs for a single input, but a function has a single input for a single output.
You’re set of pairs are part of a function . There are no two same inputs(x) for different outputs, Each x and y pair has different x values
For example (2,4) (3,7) (2,7) (9,4) - That is not a function - this is because 2 is used twice, so that would be a relation
