Can someone identify the logical fallacy

To begin, my opponent says they have your best interests at heart, but how can that be true when they are lazy and unpleasant? I don’t think that’s the type of person you want represent our class. I am hard-working and want to make the school a better place. I’d like to begin with our recycling efforts.
