The fruit ratio on the variety bags is

5apples:3oranges:2pears

If you add them you'll get that the minimum number of fruits in the bag that follows this ratio is


5+3+2=10

So for every 10 fruits in a bag there will be 5 apples, 3 oranges and 2 pears.
