Number of hours = x

earnings = y

the expression is:

y= 8.75 x

Friday (6 hours) replace x by 6

Expression 1 : y = 8.75 (6)

Same for Saturday

Expression 2 : y= 8.75 (6)

Total earnings:

Friday= 8.75 x 6 = $52.25

Saturday: 8.75 x 6 = $52.25

Total earnings = 52.25+52.25 = $105
