Given the system


\begin{gathered} 5x+2y=6 \\ 4x-3y=14 \end{gathered}

To solve it you have apply the addition method, this means that you have to add both equations.

You have to keep in mind that is only valid to add the terms that have the same variables.

The solution is 9x-y=20
