8 910 12 13 DRAW A LINE TO CONNECT EACH TRIANGLE TO THE EQUATION THAT COULD BE USED TO FIND THE MISSING SIDE LENGTH AND THEN TO THE LENGTH OF THE SIDE. NOT ALL CHOICES WILL BE USED. 20 in 152 + b2 = 202 44.8 in 15 in ? 152 + 202 = c2 21 in 5 in ? MISSING LENGTHS OF RIGHT TRIANGLES 282 + b2 = 352 25 in 13 in 282 + 352 = c2 13.2 in 3 35 in 2 6 52 + b2 = 132 12 in 28 in Mwerag the Middle ule, 2019 hp

we use the pythagorean theorem

1)

\begin{gathered} c^2=a^2+b^2 \\ c^2=15^2+20^2 \end{gathered}

and

\begin{gathered} c^2=225+400 \\ c^2=625 \\ c=\sqrt[]{625}=25\text{ in} \end{gathered}

2)

5^2+b^2=13^2

and

\begin{gathered} 25+b^2=169 \\ 25+b^2-25=169-25 \\ b^2=144 \\ b=\sqrt[]{144}=12\text{ in} \end{gathered}

c)

28^2+b^2=35^2

and

\begin{gathered} 784+b^2=1225 \\ 784+b^2-784=1225-784 \\ b^2=441 \\ b=\sqrt[]{441}=21\text{ in} \end{gathered}
