If 6/7 of a class was absent due to illness and 2/5 of the school was absent due to illness, is the fraction of the class that was absent equivalent to the fraction of the entire school that was absent?

We have to convert the fraction to a decimal number, because the fractions given are in the simplest form


(6)/(7)=0.86
(2)/(5)=0.4

as we can see the fractions given are not equivalent because the decimal number must be the same in equivalent fractions.
