What is 2^2—3^2 simplifyed (I hope u all can understand how I typed it)

The expression is:


(2^2)/(3^2)

So:


a^2=a\cdot a

It means that the expression is equal to:


(2^2)/(3^2)=(2\cdot2)/(3\cdot3)=(4)/(9)

The simplified expression is 4/9
