The perimeter of a a square =


\begin{gathered} P\text{ = }4l \\ \text{Where P = perimet}er \\ l\text{ = length} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{Length = x ft} \\ P\text{erimeter = 20 ft} \\ P=\text{ 4l} \\ P=4x \\ 20\text{ = 4x} \\ x=(20)/(4) \\ x=5ft \end{gathered}

Hence the value of x = 5ft
