What is the proper congruence criterion for triangles?

There are three congruence criteria for triangles.

SAS (Side Angle Side) if two sides are equal in measurement and the included angles are also equal, then the triangles are congruent.

SSS (Side Side Side) if the three sides of the triangles are equal in length, then the triangles are congruent.

ASA (Angle Side Angle) if two angles of the triangles are equal and the length of one side is equal, then the triangles are congruent.
