Here we got the following operation:


32(2)/(9)+23(4)/(9)

To solve it, we have to remember that if we have a fraction like that form, we have to multiply the outside number per the denominator and then sum the numerator to get the new numerator, and our denominator will stay equal.

This is, for example:


\begin{gathered} 32(2)/(9)=((32\cdot9)+2)/(9)=(290)/(9) \\ 23(4)/(9)=((23\cdot9)+4)/(9)=(211)/(9) \end{gathered}

Now, we just sum:
