The perimeter of the window is equal to

$P=3\cdot(3)+(1)/(2)\cdot\pi\cdot D$

where

D=3 ft ----> diameter of the semicircle

substitute

$\begin{gathered} P=3\cdot(3)+(1)/(2)\cdot\pi\cdot3 \\ P=9+(3\pi)/(2) \\ P=13.71\text{ ft} \end{gathered}$

The answer is 13.71 ft (rounded to two decimal places)
